Pleasured but not Satisfied: The Danger when Pleasure Becomes More Important than God

The thing that presents the greatest challenge to our life in God and for God, is the issue of loving pleasure more than loving God. Data shows that Christian people especially men, similar to people of the world, are addicted to pornography, fornication, homosexuality- the perversion of sex, and all forms of unbridled pleasure. While the symptoms are many, I believe the real issue at the heart of the symptoms is what Paul refers to “loving of pleasure more than loving God” and in pursuit of internal satisfaction. This book attempts to share some real perspective on how men and women misuse pleasure and the significant costs that result.
