Made of 100% polyester felt. Our felt is non toxic and will last for many years. We do not use paint like the lesser quality felts. This is a felt/flannel board set designed to go on traditional felt/flannel boards and backgrounds. It may not stick to the cheaply made "wall hanging" backgrounds that come from other countries since most of them are not true felt/flannel boards. If your felt/flannel board requires velcro to make the figures stick, then it is probably not a true felt/flannel board. However, if this set does not stick to the background you have, you can add velcro (not included) to make it work with your wall hanging. Artwork designed and licensed from Educlips Designs.
